Romancrew is one of the few Japanese groups that I love.
The first time I saw them was so long ago, 2000? 2001?

Their live performance opened my eyes and mind, and I love them since.
I started to look at Japanese hip hop in a different way after that night.

I read that people was in shock when she stated at the event how much she was paid to perform and what she planed to do her money. Mid-song, M.I.A. announced, “They’re giving me $100,000. Not bad, eh? I’m going to use it to build schools in Liberia. It costs $52,000 to build a school for 1,000.” You see people its not all about the money. Don't forget to give back. M.I.A you are right up there with Oprah your a true role model, thank you.

My most recent visit back home a friend took me to Clarion Street located in the Mission District. This alley is amazing and truly inspiring. It's a gem that makes native San Franciscans proud!
